For Richer and for Poorer

The other day I told B that we've done, "in sickness and in health" and now we're working on, "for richer and for poorer."

For those of you who don't know my husband accidentally cut off his thumb at work before our last move. It made moving very complicated and we were lucky that his friends at Fortress Fencing did the whole move for us. When I think of those two UHaul trucks driving up  with all those guys I still get a lump in my throat.

We also got the news that we had neglected to calculate the Realtor fees in our estimates of our closing costs. Thus the "for poorer." We're going to be fine but it's going to have us put off some of the improvements we were hoping to make to the house right away.

Last night B went to shock the well and to spray Moldstat at the house. He was originally just going to run through and spray everything quickly but he ended up being there until almost midnight. You can save your roses and chocolates...true romance is a guy going to do a chore you loathe so you don't have to.

We're hoping the Moldstat, which was only like $12, will clear up the problem areas we have with the mold so that we can take everything out tomorrow without stirring up a mess.

B also set up plastic around the kitchen and put in a fan blowing outside to help contain and dry out the mold.
